3 Reasons you should blog when you’re in college

Start a blog

So, you have heard about “blogs” and you want to know what is a blog all about. Well, you’ve come to a right place. A blog is a platform where you can write and demonstrate your thoughts in front of people.

I am blogging since 2015 and just like many of you I wanted to earn big. So, I started a website in the early days of my blogging career which I coded myself and the only setback of that website was that it was static. I had to code individual pages and write the content side by side while doing digital marketing and other stuff to promote my content.

Why should you start a Blog?

Well, before starting out anything I want you to read about my blunder mistakes which I made in the past. I hope you have read and learned something from them.

1. Helps you to earn money online

One of the biggest advantages of starting a blog is to start making a living for yourself. Getting an admission into the college clearly reminds us of our responsibilities. With every passing day either we want to grab a job which pays us well or want to start our own business.

If your ultimate goal is to earn handsome amount of money why not start something right from the first day of your college. You should invest your time in doing something productive rather than wasting time on social networking websites. We all want to become independent and stand on our feet, right?

2. It enhances your knowledge

One of the most obvious questions of bloggers is how to find a topic to write a blog?

As a blogger, we all face this issue somewhere in between our journey. But, once you’ve figured out a way to write something relatable to your blogs you’ll see that there is an increase in your overall knowledge. While writing a blog you might be exposed to many unfamiliar terms and as a professional, it becomes your duty to have complete knowledge of what you’re writing.

Just remember you’ll be trusted and believed by people only if you’ve had conveyed your thoughts with a clear understanding of what you have written.

3. Improves creativity and thinking capabilities

When you figure out a way to write plentiful topics for your blog, the next problem you might face is how to find the suitable content?

Writing content is not a big deal but writing quality content is the key. Don’t worry about how to write quality content because this skill is mastered with time. At the beginning, you might miss out words coming into your mind and end up with less meaningful sentences, however, with time you’ll become more creative and learn to write meaningful sentences in fewer words.

Talking about thinking capabilities I would like to say that when you write about something, you do some sort of research in advance. Doing research is like reading a lot about your topic before framing it into something which readers can understand. This can include picking up topics, keywords or phrases from different websites and presenting it in front of other people in your own words.

The above para was more about creativity but when you incorporate it in yourself, the thinking capabilities will rise itself.

I am a Professional Blogger and an aspiring Computer Scientist. The motto of my life is to “Think, Blink and Light” i.e. think before you write something to teach others.
