It’s been a while that I haven’t posted any blog and I know my readers are missing me a lot. On 8th of June, I have completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and I am free again. So, today, I have come back with a very important topic on How To compress Image Size Online?
During my B.Tech days, I used to fill a lot of online forms on different job portals. Many job portals required my photograph to be under certain size. I faced this problem mainly with government websites.
They always require the image size to be under 50kb (which is ofcourse not possible for a non-techy guy). Even, many of my friends didn’t know how to reduce the image size.
So, this gave me an idea that why shouldn’t I write a blog and help you guys with it. Please stick to the article because it is going to be short and interesting.
Compress Image Size – Ways and Tricks
This section contains both online tricks and ways to reduce the image size.
1.WhatsApp Image Compression Tool
Yes, you heard it right WhatsApp also has an image compression tool. Many of us are unaware of it and haven’t leveraged the power of this tool. Mostly, the image size reduction problem is solved by this tool.
You need to make a ‘Personalised Notepad‘ on WhatsApp Servers. Follow these simple steps to make your own personalised notepad on WhatsApp:
- Type web.whatsapp.com in your personal computer’s browser.
- Now, open WhatsApp on your phone.
- On your phone, you must find the option ‘WhatsApp Web‘ to sync it with your Personal Computer.
- Scan the QR code with your phone.
- Make a new WhatsApp group either by adding your friend or any family member and later remove him from the group.
- Now, you will be the only member who is left in the group. Rename the group as ‘Notepad‘ or whatever you want.
- Use this group to send pictures from your Personal Computer to Phone or vice versa.
WhatsApp servers have an image compression algorithm/tool which truncates the size of the image without losing its quality. So, when you send any image from your phone to your computer or vice versa, this tool automatically reduces the size of the image without putting any adverse effects on its quality. You can later download it from your ‘Personalised Notepad’ which you have created by following the above steps.
2. Compress Images Automatically
From my personal experience Compress Image tool by ToolUr is the best tool which procures our objective.
